Circuit Cubes app | Bluetooth pairing

Download the free Circuit Cubes app! The app went through a lot of updates in Spring of 2022. Here you will find extra help when connecting your device and controllers to your builds.

IPHONE & IPAD:

  • Set the Bluetooth Cube to Bluetooth Mode [blue light].
  • On your device, turn on Bluetooth [Settings > Bluetooth > ON].
  • Open the Circuit Cubes app and tap the Bluetooth icon [upper right].
  • Tap the gray refresh icon [upper right] to scan for builds.
  • Once your build shows up, tap the switch next to Disconnected.
  • Tap the blue controller icon to reach the CONTROLS panel within the app.
  • Experiment with the control options to see what best suits your build.

If you're experiencing issues connecting, be sure the Circuit Cubes app has permission to access your device’s Bluetooth. There is a prompt when you first download the app. If you miss it, you’ll need to find the app in your device’s settings to enable Bluetooth. Then repeat the steps above.

ANDROID:

  • Set the Bluetooth Cube to Bluetooth Mode [blue light].
  • On your device, turn on Bluetooth.
  • Open the Circuit Cubes app, tap the blue Bluetooth icon [upper right].
  • Tap the gray refresh icon [upper right] to scan for builds.
  • Once your build shows up, tap the switch next to Disconnected.
  • Tap the blue controller icon [bottom menu] to reach the Controls menu.
  • Experiment with the control options to see what best suits your build.

IPHONE / IPAD + PLAYSTATION CONTROLLER:

  • Set the Bluetooth Cube to Bluetooth Mode [blue light].
  • On your device, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  • On your PS4 controller, press the PS + Share buttons until light blinks.
  • On your device, you’ll see the PS4 controller within the Bluetooth settings. Tap to connect.
  • Open the Circuit Cubes app. Click the Bluetooth icon to pair your device to your build.
  • In the Circuit Cubes app, tap Controls > External.
  • On your PS4 controller, use the D-pad or the left analog stick to control your build. You can also customize your buttons.

IPHONE / IPAD + XBOX CONTROLLER:

  • Set the Bluetooth Cube to Bluetooth Mode [blue light].
  • On your device, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  • On your Xbox controller, press the Xbox button to turn on the controller. Press and hold the Connect button for a few seconds to put your controller into pairing mode.
  • On your device, you’ll see the Xbox controller within the Bluetooth settings. Tap to connect.
  • Open the Circuit Cubes app. Click the Bluetooth icon to pair your device to your build.
  • In the Circuit Cubes app, tap Controls > External.
  • On your Xbox controller, experiment with the buttons to see what works best with your build.
